21 Days of Devos - Day 14

DAY 14 | Provision for the Vision | Pastor John Brockman

I’ve heard it said, “Where God guides, He provides.” I’ve also heard the phrase, “If it’s His will, then it’s His bill.” As simple and as catchy as those sayings are, they carry a truth I’ve seen over and over again. When God gives a vision, He always gives the provision. In every situation and every season, He is enough!

But the truth is, God often shows us the vision long before He shows us the resources. He reveals the direction before He reveals the details. That gap between what He promised and what we can currently see is where our faith is stretched. It’s where the enemy whispers that we don’t have enough and we aren’t enough. Yet God promises something entirely different.

Philippians 4:19 reminds us that God Himself takes responsibility for meeting our needs. Paul wrote these words to a generous church, assuring them that the same God who stirred their hearts to step out would also supply everything required for the journey. God never calls you to a vision and then leaves you on your own to figure it out. Whatever He authors, He supports.

Scripture is filled with moments where provision arrived exactly when it was needed. Abraham discovered God’s faithfulness on the mountain and named the place “The Lord Will Provide.” Elijah received food in a famine from sources no one could have predicted. A small lunch placed in Jesus’ hands was multiplied until thousands were fed. In every story, God provided as His people obeyed.

You may be facing a vision today that feels bigger than your resources. You may feel like you’re stepping out with more questions than answers. Take courage. The God who gave the vision already has the provision on the way!

Lord, thank You that You provide for every vision You place in my heart. You are Jehovah Jireh! Strengthen my faith to trust You before I see the supply. Help me walk in obedience, confident that You will meet every need in Your perfect timing. Amen!
