Why we give.
God is generous, and so He calls us to be as well. The word “tithe” literally means tenth or 10%. Tithing, or giving ten percent of your income, isn’t merely giving something to God—it’s giving back what was His to begin with. Everything we have comes from Him, and our generosity is a way of showing where our hearts are and proclaiming the gospel. Giving isn’t just about finances; it’s about trusting God, putting Him first, and honoring Him in every area of our lives.
