What is LLA?
LLA is Lakeside’s Leadership Development Program designed to take you to the next level and sharpen you for both your present and your future. For 14 weeks, participants grow through weekly teachings from our staff and pastors—designed to help you become the person God has called you to be.

14 Weeks
Tuesdays : 6:30PM - 8:30PM
Taking you to the next level.
Spend 14 weeks learning from members of Lakeside’s staff and pastoral team, with the goal of sharpening your leadership and helping you step more fully into who God has called you to be. Each week includes intentional stretching through icebreakers, activities, and growth moments, along with built-in accountability both individually and among peers.
These 3½ months are intentionally structured to give you tools, confidence, and community that carry beyond the program—into your leadership, your work, and your everyday life.

FAQs
Is this program just for people who want to work for the church?
No LLA is for any leader whether they have a Minsterial call on their life or whom feels the marketplace/their home is their ministry. We believe that the content and the wisdom taught in this class, spans far past just the church walls and it should. For those interested in working for the church, we do see this as a great first step into learning more about our church & culture on a deeper level.
Is there childcare for class nights?
No there is no provided childcare for these nights. It is up to the applicant to ensure that their childcare is secured and available to them prior to applying.
Is there a cost associated with the program and if so, what does it cover?
Yes, there is a $70 Academy Fee. This fee goes towards a notebook, book and all other resources that will be given to you during your time in the program, as well as helps assist us in providing the classes dinner on the first and last nights of class. The fee must be paid prior to the first night of class but we ensure to provide ample time in consideration of all financial positions.
Will I have homework, projects, etc.?
You will be required to complete a capstone project in order to fulfill your requirements for the program. In Spring, you are required to plan, lead and execute a Serve Day Project and in the Fall, you will be required to serve and lead at Christmas Marketplace. You will also be required to do a campus visit, of which you will be prescheduled and assigned to prior to the first night of class to ensure plenty of time for planning.
