Core Values!

Nursery
6 Weeks - 1 Year Old
We keep our Lakeside Nursery rooms ready with age-appropriate toys that are
thoroughly cleaned between services. We win the confidence of every parent by caring for
babies as if they were our own. During service we focus on the prayer and care of babies in our engaging classrooms.

Preschool
2 Years Old - Kindergarten
Our goal is to help lay a strong biblical foundation by teaching the lessons of the Bible in a way that young children can understand. We provide interactive learning through worship, activities, and engaging lessons. Additionally, we encourage children to build meaningful relationships with their teachers and peers in a nurturing classroom environment.

Elementary
1st - 5th Grade
Our Kids experience creates an environment where children are taught worship, prayer and biblical truth. Our heart is to connect children to the love, confidence and power of God. Kids are exposed to God's word thru the use of bible lessons and small group discussions with an emphasis on peer connection.

What is child dedication?
Dedication allows parents to bring their child before God and the church, pledging to seek His guidance and wisdom as they fulfill their responsibilities. It is a commitment to teach your child that salvation comes through grace and faith in Jesus Christ, to trust in the Bible as the ultimate truth, and to value the significance of a faith community in the local church.
Dedications are held every 3 months. Times may vary by campus.

Parent Commitments
Lakeside Kids believes that the key to a child’s discipleship is the role of the parent and their involvement. In this partnership, we ask that parents commit to the following expectations before dedicating their child:
• I have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
• I regularly attend weekend experiences at the Lakeside church.
• I agree with Lakeside church’s beliefs and values which can be found in the statement of faith
• I commit to modeling personal purity and to lead by example in matters of faith and conduct. This includes living a life of sexual purity according to God's standards.

BAPTISM
Every child can have a personal relationship with Jesus, and in Lakeside Kids we encourage them to make a decision to follow Him. Our children are encouraged to not just learn about Jesus but learn from Him by walking with Him every day (I Corinthians 12:13).
We advise parents to wait until their child is asking to be water baptized. This is usually a good indication that they are ready to be baptized and that it will be a spiritual milestone in their life. While younger children under the age of seven can have a relationship with Jesus, they will not necessarily remember or understand the significance of the event. With that we believe in partnering with parents as we wait for baptism until they are a little older, during that time walking through the bible with them and specific prayers and discussions about baptism, Jesus, their faith, and the decision they are wanting to make.
As you are talking to your children about water baptism we would encourage you to use this baptism guide to start your conversation!
