TOGO 2026
Central Togo | October 10-18, 2026
This adult team will travel to central Togo and join the Togo VAPOR Team for a cross-cultural experience like no other. They will see firsthand the realities of a third world environment and be able to take part in relevant and effective solutions to a worldwide crisis as you participate in the vision of Vapor Ministries. You will powerfully connect with two different communities in Togo and experience life there in unforgettable ways. As a group, you will experience daily operations at the center, youth and team discipleship, league practice, work projects, local cuisine, community interaction, and immersion in a different culture. Space has also been created in the schedule to build an understanding of the devastating, abject poverty so many people experience daily.

TRIP PHYSICALITY
Level 3 – Moderate to Strenuous. Expectation: Moderate to heavy amounts of walking, often on uneven terrain, potentially heavy work projects, and hot climate.
TRAVEL TIME
About 15 hours flight time each way including layovers, depending on the airline, longest flight leg is 8-1/2 hrs. Plus some driving time to get to final destination.
REQUIREMENTS
- 18+ years old.
- Completion of Growth Track classes at least 3 months before departure
- Attendance at mandatory preparation meetings leading up to trip
- Background checks
- Passport with at least 6 months validity past return date (returning August 14th so passport must be valid until at least February 19, 2027)
- Interest does not automatically reserve a spot on the team. All interested will be contacted to review requirements and advised of the registration link and deadlines. Registrations will be reviewed and the team leader will contact participants with next steps.
TRIP COSTS
Airfare, Visas, ground transportation, food, accommodations, and emergency medical & evacuation insurance are included in the cost of the trip.
WHAT IS NOT COVERED: Trip interruption insurance is not provided, but you may purchase a separate policy. Should you unexpectedly be unable to go on the trip for any reason prior to the trip departure or must return home early, you may want to consider purchasing this insurance. Passport application, photographs, or renewal fees, not included. Incidental expenses such as souvenirs and personal need purchases are not included.
